The Residential Complex comprises 44 residential apartments allotted to journalists to support their long-term welfare. Situated in the heart of Islamabad, this initiative provides affordable and subsidized housing for journalists and their families, offering a crucial foundation of stability in a demanding profession. The Foundation diligently oversees the maintenance and management of the complex, ensuring the upkeep of public spaces and the reliable provision of a 24/7 water supply to each apartment.
This housing support yields significant benefits for journalists, fostering a greater sense of security and reducing the financial burdens associated with accommodation in a major urban center.

More than just an event space nestled within the Pak Media Foundation building in Islamabad’s G-8 Markaz (overlooking a peaceful public park), the Quaid-e-Azam Auditorium serves as a vital launchpad and safe space for institutions and organizations championing media freedom, the rule of law, good governance and democracy and protection of human rights.
This state-of-the-art auditorium serves as a dynamic center where impactful collaborations are forged and crucial dialogues unfold, with a strong emphasis on advancing the rights and participation of under-served and marginalized groups. The Pak Media Foundation actively partners with diverse entities, leveraging the auditorium’s resources to amplify their vital work and foster positive societal change, placing a significant focus on initiatives that promote gender equality and empower women and youth across all sectors. We see ourselves as an enabler, providing a supportive environment for these essential pillars of a thriving society to convene, connect, and catalyze action.
Our state-of-the-art auditorium, with a seating capacity of up to 300, is equipped with essential facilities – including installed lighting, full power backup/generator services, dedicated backstage space, convenient washrooms, ample car parking, thorough cleaning services, comprehensive CCTV surveillance, and three safety exits – all designed to ensure the seamless execution of impactful events.
In line with our commitment to community support, we are pleased to offer subsidized rates to educational institutions and welfare organizations for hosting their impactful events, with a special emphasis on those dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of media and marginalized groups.

Pak Media Foundation’s dedicated Library & Resource Center stands as a comprehensive hub for knowledge, offering free and open access to the residents and public at large on the basis of membership. This invaluable resource houses a vast collection of books, newspapers, and periodicals relevant to the media landscape of Pakistan.
